Your first visit: what to expect

1. Before you come in: Let your hair grow to about ¼ inch, roughly the length of a grain of rice. That's usually 2–3 weeks after shaving. Too short and the wax can't grip, and too long makes it less comfortable. Skip exfoliating, retinol and tanning on the area for 24–48 hours before.
2. When you arrive: We'll answer any questions and let you know what to remove. Your comfort leads the way.
3. During your wax: We work quickly and carefully, one small section at a time. We book about 35 minutes for a first visit and about 30 minutes after that.
4. After: You'll leave smooth, with a few simple aftercare steps (below).

Is it going to sting? Honestly, yes, especially the first time. But it's quick, and it gets easier with every visit as the hair grows back finer.

Prep and aftercare

Before your wax

• Hair about ¼ inch long (2–3 weeks after shaving)
• No exfoliating, retinol or tanning on the area for 24–48 hours
• Come with clean, dry skin and no lotion
• Wear loose, comfortable clothes for afterward

After your wax (first 24–48 hours)

• Wear loose clothing
• Skip heat (hot tubs, saunas, intense workouts) and sun
• Skip intercourse
• After a couple of days, exfoliate gently a few times a week. It's the easiest way to keep ingrown hairs away.

Keep a 4–6 week rhythm. Regular visits keep your hair on a consistent growth cycle, so each wax is quicker and easier than the last.

Other men's waxing

Booking more than one area? You can add several services to the same appointment.

Hands and fingers are included with arm waxing, and feet and toes are included with leg waxing. Book them on their own only if you're skipping the arms or legs.

I've never had a Brazilian. Is it awkward?

Not at all. It's a routine professional service for us. We explain everything before we start, keep it calm and matter-of-fact, and make sure you're comfortable the whole time.

Does a men's Brazilian hurt?

It stings, especially the first time, but it's quick. Everyone's pain tolerance is different, and most clients say it's easier than they expected. It gets easier with every visit as the hair grows back finer.

How long does my hair need to be?

About ¼ inch, roughly a grain of rice. That's usually 2–3 weeks after shaving. If it's too short the wax can't grip, and if it's too long the wax is less comfortable.

How long does the appointment take?

We book about 35 minutes for your first men's Brazilian and about 30 minutes after that.

How long do the results last?

You'll stay smooth for up to about 4 weeks. Most people notice some regrowth around 2 weeks, and it comes back softer and finer over time. Every 4–6 weeks is the sweet spot.

Can I use Wax Wednesday on my first visit?

No. Wax Wednesday ($10 off, 9am–5pm) can't be combined with the $65 first-time price. On your first visit, the $65 offer is the better deal. After that, Wednesdays take your $80 Brazilian down to $70.

Are the buttock cheeks included?

Buttock cheeks are a separate service. Book Men's Buttock Cheeks ($30) in the same appointment.
